Smart students know that CE classes offers double the benefit for less cost. You get to earn college credit, save money, get a headstart.

You've chosen to register for a Concurrent Enrollment
class through Utah Tech University.

Are you eligible?
  • Your High School GPA is at least a 3.0
  • Be completing course requirements at an approved, state funded, public or charter high school (Not sure? Check with your high school counselor).
  • Be taking at least one class at the resident high school.
  • Have a State Student ID Number (SSID) and Student School District ID Number—all of which can be obtained from your high school counselor.
  • Register for the appropriate number of credits as designated by your high school counselor.
  • Only complete a maximum of 30 Concurrent Cnrollment credit hours in one school year (15 credit hours per semester – Fall & Spring) in order to receive concurrent enrollment reduced tuition rates.  Concurrent Enrollment funding does not include the summer term.
Collect some stuff
When filling out the application to the CE Program you will need
to have the following information with ready to go.
  • A parent or guardian to grant approval
  • Social Security Number, student VISA number, or alien registration number
  • Student and Parent/Guardian email addresses
  • $35 application fee waiver code from your high school teacher or counselor
Complete the
Application
The Utah System of Higher Education Concurrent Enrollment application must be filled out academic each year.

First CE course?
You’ll receive an email from Utah Tech within 1-2 business days with your student ID number.
Taken a CE course before?
Keep on moving, you can register immediately!(You must still complete the CE application every academic year.)

Lookup Classes
In just a few easy steps, you'll be able to view the current classes including days and times that are available at your high school.
1. Log into your MyUT account to view available courses.
Using the link above, login to MyUT. This link will take you to a specific page with classes available at your high school.

You will be prompted to enter your Digital ID number and password. Your ID number is a "D" followed by eight numbers.

2. Select the current term.
From the drop down menu, select the current term. ie Fall 2023 or Spring 2024.

3. Select your preferred campus.
From the drop down menu, select the your preferred campus. There are classes available at your high school, online, and UT main campus depending on your school.

If you are unsure, contact your high school counselor.
3. View the list of courses available to you.
From the list of courses, write down the CRN for the courses you are interested in.

The CRN is the five digit number in the first column of the list. You will use this number to register for the course.

Registration
After looking at the available classes, now you're ready to register for any of these classes that you want to take. No need to run, you can register for all of these classes from the same portal page.
1. Login to "Banner Self Service" to register for classes.
If you are already logged into MyUT, on the lookup pages page, click on the link to view the "Banner Self Service" page.

If you have logged out, log into MyUT
2. Click "Register for Classes" banner page.
Navigate to the "Register for Classes" page in banner.
3. Select the the term
Select the same term you used when looking-up classes previously
4. Select the "Enter CRN" tab.
From the tabs select "Enter CRN".
2. Enter the CRN # of the class you have chosen.
This is some text inside of a div block.
3. Click "Add to Summary" button.
This will add the current course to your schedule.

If you are registering for more than one course, enter a new CRN and click "Add to Summary" for each additional course.
4. Review Classes and Submit to register
Click "Submit"(located in the bottom right-hand corner). A successful registration will appear green
